A Soulful Approach to Psychotherapy

“We owe it to the world to be as alive as we can,
to give what is unique in us to give.”
Pat B. Allen

I believe life is always moving us towards increased wholeness. It asks us to become all of who we are, and to fully express that in the world.

I support people in doing the work of integration, which involves accessing parts of ourselves that we may be unaware of. Then we work together to address what may be unseen or unconscious so you can have full access to all of who you are.

I integrate methods from Jungian psychology (working with dreams and creative expression) and EMDR trauma therapy (healing of trauma).

More about the different approaches.

My Approach

I am a California LMFT (Marriage and Family Therapist license number 81404) and a certified EMDR therapist. I was born and raised in Israel and I am the grandson of Holocaust survivors, which informs my passion for working with people who are seeking a meaningful life beyond their painful experiences. I moved to the United States following my Israeli Army service, and trained as a psychotherapist in Southern California. I have an extensive background in Zen meditation and fine art.

I earned a master's degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I trained in Jungian psychology and practices such as dream work and active imagination, and published my thesis on the relationship between Zen meditation and Active Imagination. I completed a comprehensive trauma treatment program for EMDR and Trauma Resiliency Model training at the Southern California Counseling Center.
